I was born near Atlanta, GA. After graduating high school at Woodward Academy, I went to Georgia Tech, culminating in a degree in computer science. I’ve worked entirely online since 1999, both with Comics Infinity, an online comics and collectibles store, and Fandomania, a blog covering all sorts of geeky entertainment. In 2004 I moved to Orlando, FL, where I eventually met Celeste (we met in the geekiest of ways when I was running a Joss Whedon panel at Megacon, and she was helping her friend at PBS with press). Celeste and I co-host the weekly Fandomania Podcast, and in November of 2009 we got married. In 2011 we bought a house and moved to Clermont, FL.
I’m into all sorts of geekish things, from obsessively watching and analyzing TV shows to collecting comic books and toys to playing way too much XBox (see gamertag to the right). I have played the piano since I was four (with a couple of years off here and there) and hope to one day be semi-competent on the instrument.
