A long time ago, McFarlane Toys had the license to make Dawn collectibles based on Joseph Michael Linsner’s art. I think this Dawn action figure was the only Linsner piece they released, but it’s a really nice one. The armor is inspired by a specific outfit from Linsner’s art, and she came with a cool display base that had a plant erupting from a modern street.

I’ve been a fan of Joe Linsner’s art for a long, long time, and I’ve been collecting stuff based on his art for nearly as long. As such, I have quite a few statues and figures of Dawn in my collection, and this is the most recent one released by Diamond Select Toys. She’s part of the Femme Fatales figure line, which is a collection of female characters from comics, as well as original creations from Art Asylum.
