Sinestro00

I’m taking a quick detour today back into the DC Superhero Figurine collection from Eaglemoss to post a few pictures of the Sinestro miniature. I got a few new additions to the collection this week, and I hope to have time to take pictures of them this weekend, before time to get ready and pack for Dragon Con!

LexLuthor00

Had enough DC stuff? No? How about some photos of the Lex Luthor figurine from Eaglemoss’s DC Superhero Figurine Collection? Yeah? Here you go.

Deadshot00

Today’s Project 365 collectible is the Deadshot miniature from Eaglemoss’s DC Superhero Figurine Collection. I took these photos a while back but hadn’t posted them here yet. I didn’t have time to take new pictures of a collectible today, so these became an easy swap-in feature.

Doomsday00

If you think I’m posting pics I took several years ago because I was busy today and didn’t get a chance to take new photos of a collectible, you would be correct! This is the Doomsday deluxe scale figurine from Eaglemoss’s DC Superhero Collection. I likely will be posting some more Eaglemoss figurines later this week, but those will be new pictures, as the very last of the Marvel line is about to come out.

Antimonitor00

The Antimonitor is one of the deluxe figurine releases in Eaglemoss’s DC Superhero collection. I got him a few years ago and decided to feature him today since I haven’t had time to photograph any new collectibles for today’s Project 365 post.

Batcycle00

Eaglemoss has separate subsets of their Marvel and DC figurine lines that accommodate larger-scale characters with deluxe-sized figures that are larger than the standard figurines but still in scale with the rest of the line. Every once in a while, they produce a piece that doesn’t quite fit into the standard or the deluxe line, and that’s where this awesome Batcycle shows up. This is a really cool piece that is in scale with the other DC pieces and is unique in that it’s the only vehicle figurine in this particular line.

Dove00

We went to Megacon in Orlando today, so it was a super long and busy day. As usual, when I don’t have time to do a proper photo shoot with a full size collectible, I fell back on my Eaglemoss miniatures to get some quick and easy photos, so as not to break my Project 365 streak of taking pictures of one collectible a day for a year. The next piece on the Eaglemoss stack is Dove, from the company’s DC collection. I also have her partner in heroing, Hawk, somewhere around here, but I’d need to dig a bit to find him. He’ll probably show up on here sooner or later.

AmbushBug00

I haven’t read a ton of comics with Ambush Bug in them, and I don’t know a whole lot about him other than that he’s a delusional and pretty wacked-out superhero-ish guy in the DC Universe, sort of similar in personality to Deadpool in Marvel. And, like Deadpool, Ambush Bug enjoys breaking the fourth wall early and often, as evidenced even in this figurine that has him reading a copy of the Ambush Bug character guide magazine (upside down) that came with the figurine. He’s #87 in the DC Superhero Figurine Collection from Eaglemoss and is cast from lead in scale with the other characters in the series.

Darkseid00

Today is a pretty busy one, so I copped out a little in order to get my daily photos done for my collectibles Project 365. I have several recently acquired statues and pieces to photo, but I needed something quick for this one, so I dug up my Darkseid miniature, which released a few years back as part of Eaglemoss’s DC Superhero Figurine Collection. Darkseid was the first Special Issue figure released in the line and, in scale with the regular characters, is a bit taller and bigger than the ones that came before him. I’ll eventually get around to taking pictures of the other Special Edition characters in the DC line, but I anticipate posting some larger scale collectibles again over the next few days.

One of the many things I collect is the DC Superhero Figurines Collection made by a company in the UK called Eaglemoss. They make small scale figurines of all the heroes and villains from DC Comics. The figurines typically are painted lead miniatures, and they are usually around 3 3/4″ tall. They kind of look like really cool chess pieces… so much so, in fact, that Eaglemoss’s newest series of collectibles is actually a line of Batman chess pieces. I don’t plan to collect those, but I’m way deep into the regular figurines, and I’m going to try to log all of them with photos. So far I’ve only managed to shoot ten of the many figurines I have, but you can see those in my Flickr gallery.
