Hong Kong-based toy company Hot Toys is very nearly the gold standard when it comes to the action figure business. They make super realistic and awesome toys in 1/6 (12 inch) scale, and they have all sorts of licenses ranging from Marvel to Star Wars to Predator to Metal Gear. This Avengers release is the second Black Widow figure they’ve done, the first being based on the character’s look in Iron Man 2. She is authentically sculpted from Scarlett Johansson’s likeness and comes with a whole bunch of accessories, including several interchangeable sets of hands, swappable stinger bracelets, two handguns (with working slides on top), and a Chitauri staff weapon. She also comes with a plain black display base, but I didn’t include it in any of the pictures I took.
Hot Toys is a Hong Kong based toy company that makes some of the most awesome action figures on the market. Their attention to detail and accuracy make each of their releases more a work of art than a toy. I have several of their previous figures in my collection, including Don Corleone, Ezio Auditore, Black Widow, and several others. They just posted photos of their newest upcoming figure online, and it’s pretty astounding. Check out all the detail in this Sweeney Todd. He even comes with the barber chair as his display base, and he includes several costume variations and a whole bunch of optional parts and accessories. Awesome stuff.
